Eike Schönau

After completing his studies of Organizational Sociology, Political Science and Psychology at the Freie Universität of Berlin, Eike Schönau has been working in the fields of recruiting and talent management for more than 16 years. He began his professional career after graduation with an IT recruitment services firm in Munich, where he early on developed a passion for bringing the right people together with the right roles. Over the course of his career, he has held senior HR leadership positions with responsibility for building and further developing professional recruiting structures, employer branding and talent acquisition functions.
Eike Schönau worked in the media sector as Senior HR Business Partner at Sky AG in Munich and later as Head of HR for Sky Austria in Vienna. He subsequently shaped the talent and recruiting strategy of Vetter Pharma in Ravensburg for many years in various leadership roles. Before joining Meyer & Söhne, he most recently served as Director Talent Attractiveness & Acquisition at Dürr AG in Bietigheim-Bissingen, where he was a member of the HR Board.
